The mare is Laghtonora Lass, we call her Keeva, and she is the lead mare of our herd. She is a very strong character and the others in the herd all follow her willingly. She was 12 at the time of this photo and is an excellent mother. The foal is Ellathwaite Blackmore, born at the time when Rachael Blackmore became the first woman to win the Grand National, and we fondly know him as Jock.
